Since Martin has now finished his winter semester, we are more free to travel again and visit some of the colonies. The translation work in this project is also moving along steadily, for which we are very thankful. The gospels are checked and the committee is working through the book of Acts. One prayer request that we have is that we will find suitable readers for the recording of the NT books. One obvious reason why this can be difficult is that the readers need to have good reading skills. The other reason is that these people could encounter real trouble if their voices would be recognized by those leaders who are still opposing the project. So far we have found one young man who has just finished a trial recording of the gospel of Mark. This audio book can be accessed over the Internet and people are already making use of that.
If we will not find more readers for a dramatized version, then this young man will probably be our reader for the whole NT. Click here to try it out and let us know what you think!
